About the Author
Alex Michael is a lifelong storyteller and writer of twelve novels. She hopes to publish most of them eventually. A graduate of Western Washington University and the Denver Publishing Institute, she brings a deep love of language and craft to every story she tells.
Her debut YA fantasy, The Gemstone Collector, marks her first published novel and her foray into self-publishing. When she’s not writing, Alex can be found reading, collecting books, sipping coffee, traveling, or chasing Phish concerts. A proud Toastmaster, she balances adventures and speaking alongside her writing life.
